Recipes with sandwich maker: fast, versatile and delicious!

If you don’t have time to cook extensively, a sandwich maker is a great alternative. Tips for delicious meals or healthy snacks.

Sandwich makers are widely available in stores or online. The devices resemble waffle irons and are capable of making and toasting a sandwich between two heated sides. You put a slice of toast in the sandwich maker, fill it with the desired toppings and cover with the second slice.

Now you can close the sandwich maker and take out your finished snack after a few minutes. The cooking time is usually indicated by a green or red indicator light. Typically, a sandwich takes three to five minutes, depending on how brown you prefer your toast.

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate sprinkles
  1. Mash the banana until smooth and spread over both slices of toast.
  2. Make a small hole in the middle and fill it with chocolate sprinkles. This way, when the chocolate melts, it stays in the sandwich and has a delicious liquid core.
  3. Now put the second slice of toast and close the sandwich maker. Be careful to keep the baking time short so that the chocolate is not too runny, or leave the sandwich to cool afterwards.

Of course, you can also make meaty vegetable options, or you can add or replace individual ingredients and spices. There are no limits to your imagination with the sandwich maker.
