Cheese and Salami Spicy Toast Cake: Simple and Elegant!

Our cheese and salami spiced toast cake will attract everyone’s attention. Preparation is very easy! We explain how.

Ingredients for 1 baking dish (25 cm):

  • For the toast cake:
  • 12 slices of tin toast, whole grain
  • 8 tablespoons of herb cream cheese, e.g. B. Bresso
  • 250g Gouda, aged, about 12 slices
  • 600 grams of cream cheese
  • 100 g cooked ham, sliced
  • Finish:
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 100 g salami, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of grated cheese
  • Radish, for decoration
  • parsley, for garnish

Per serving approximately:

  • 358 calories
  • 25 grams of fat
  • 16 grams of carbohydrates
  • 16 grams of protein

Preparation time:

  • 60 minutes (plus 5 hours for cooling)

And this is how it is done:


  1. Remove the crust from the toast, spread 6 slices of vegetable cream cheese and assemble the remaining slices into sandwiches. Line a 25cm baking tin with plastic wrap. Arrange the cheese slices on the side of the baking dish.
  2. Put the sandwiches next to each other, cut them if necessary. Spread with cream cheese, filling the gaps between the toast and cheese slices. Cut the cooked ham to size and place in the dish leaving a 5mm margin on each side.
  3. Spread lightly with cream cheese and top with remaining sandwiches. Spread with the remaining cream cheese (fill in the gaps) and cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours or overnight. Cut the remaining ham into thin strips and reserve for garnish.
  4. Lift the toast from the pan and carefully remove the foil. Wash the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise and slice it. Fold the salami slices into the flowers. Garnish the toast with salami, boiled ham, grated cheese, radish and parsley and cut into slices.


Our Cheese and Salami Spicy Toast Cake is so easy to make, it’s sure to turn heads on the dinner table! All you need here is a little creativity and fun decorating. The rest is very easy. Also, bring some time because the toast cake needs to be chilled for at least 5 hours before serving. But it’s worth the wait because you’ve got the perfect snack for you and your friends. It is best to make the cheese and salami toast in the evening and refrigerate overnight. Then you can serve it the next day.
